AVOID AVOID AVOID

I test drove 9 different cars in order to make a decision on a nissan after writing off my beautiful skoda kodiaq (the only reason I didn't purchase another skoda was availability and I needed a new car quickly). To say I regret it is an understatement....

Abysmal after care at the branch after purchasing a 2021 nissan qashqai in October 2024. I have lodged an official complaint on 26.12.2024 and I am awaiting a resolution. The car has been back to the garage 3 times now for various issues that have not actually been fixed.

In summary:
1. Android auto is still not working and the service team couldn't figure out why. The screen freezes, the sound is rubbish and some phones don't connect at all. I have had this issue since I purchased the car- the sales rep witnessed the issue when I was collecting it in October, but said that it's probably my cable and to come back to the branch if the issue persists. It did and continues to.

2. Windscreen screenwash dispenser blocked- the service team tried to charge me 90£ for a replacement, when I drove out of the garage it was working absolutely fine. Daylight robbery

3. Auto start/stop not working. The service team has tried to fix it (hence 200£ worth of diagnostics), the car was in the garage for the whole day, after which I drove out of nissan, drove to costco yp the road and the error on the dash came up again. I am now expected to drop the car off back to them for more diagnostics and see if maybe 4th time I will be lucky and they are able to fix it. I don't have high hopes.

Excellent experience. I brought my car in for a service and MOT. Everyone I spoke to was friendly, clear, and explained the issues in a way I could understand. The work was complexted quickly, and I'm really impressed with the standard. All in all a 5-star service!

Unfortunately, our experience with these people has confirmed our instincts to avoid dealers wherever possible.

We have an old Nissan Leaf, which drives really well. However the ‘infotainment system’ (which actually has much more than just radio/music functionality, it actually is the only place, for example, where we can set charge levels for the battery, etc) stopped working a few months ago. We tried all of the online soft resets, and eventually when the screen itself would not function, we decided to take it in to the closest dealer for assistance.

Well this resulted in the most expensive car wash I have ever had. They did repair a manufacturer listed fault (a bracket that Nissan had realised was corrosive; and this repair was at no charge as a Nissan fault), but the outcome on the infotainment system investigation was ‘we can’t fix that unfortunately’. I paid £93:60 for this information and outcome. To be fair, the car wash was great. But that wasn’t the point.

Then I was told that they would be willing to send the unit away, to a repair place in Bradford that they use for radio repairs. No guarantees of ability to repair, and we would have to pay the courier fees and any other cost for repair if indeed it was repairable. We went ahead. We paid £175 to get it sent away, and we waited. Then we were told that the Bradford folks could not fix it, and would be sending it back. Fine. Andrew, who has been helpful, suggested we try to find a second hand unit on eBay, and they would refit that for us if we were able to do so. So we looked on eBay, and we found a great company, also in Bradford, who said ‘send it to us, we will see if we can fix it, and if not, we will also note you guys down for when a 2nd hand unit comes in’. Well less than 2 weeks later, they sent us our unit saying they had managed to repair it.

We contacted Nissan again, and we took the unit and car in, for them to fit. Which they did, and amazingly the unit is functioning fully. No thanks to Nissan Straiton, but we are pleased that it works.

However, Andy at Nissan thought it appropriate to charge us a further £71.40 for the pleasure (and this time not even a car wash).

Basically, we have paid these people £340 for sweet nothing. We were the ones who actually got the unit repaired (yes, we had to pay the eBay guys, but at least that was money well spent). When we pointed this out, and suggested that they waive this final charge, Andy, the manager refused.

Never going anywhere near these folks again if we can possibly help it.

Sales executive I spoke to Ross Carde, had been amazing and very helpful. He was very patient listening to my requirements, clarifying my doubts and presenting me with different options to choose (PCP, HP, Used cars from Nissan). Not only he gave my details but he took me to the vehicle to show me how the configuration I wanted would look like, best and great trait I noticed in Ross is not to push the customer to buy, which is typical sales job now a days, but rather gave me time to think through and no Rush!! I would say he is one of those I came across selling products and services ethically. Thanks Ross for your time and help, appreciate it, keep shining and helping customers choose and decide what they want.

This branch only care about one thing ££££££ now ovbs making money is part of the game but customer care doesn't exist and the apparent service team are clueless a asked in regards to parts and the person at hand had not a clue and basically left me no further forward with the nissan I have very clueless and unexperienced more intrested to sell something to you .......won't bother my arse next time

Far far beyond your average main dealer!

John Allan took a great deal of time to answer any questions I have and send detailed photographs and videos of the car I was interested in. I travelled 400 miles to collect it and it was exactly as described, I couldn't be happier with my purchase and if I decide on another GTR in future I will only ever return to Noble!

Could not recommend them highly enough, thank you again!

Would give no stars if I could. But wanted to warn people not to use this branch. Very poor customer service and whatever you do don't put a reserve on a car. I put a reserve on a car that wasn't ready and then found a better deal elsewhere. This is when I was treated poorly and as soon as I said it on the phone the gentleman's voice instantly changed. Then after a month of trying to get in contact I received a vague email telling me that it was my fault that I chose a different car and not there car and that they would be keeping my money. I get if there was an admin fee but to keep it all is bang out of order and robbery. Please whatever you do don't use this branch. I'm sure other branches might be better (at least I hope they are) do not use this one!!
