This was my first time sea fishing and turned out to be a fantastic experience. I learned so much from Andrea and his team in just a few hours on the water and we managed to hook a nice sized Amberjack early in the day. I was thrilled.

Andrea is extremely knowledgeable and organised everything perfectly. He provided tasty snacks and an excellent lunch, much needed after hauling in the Amberjack early on. The weather was also a bonus, clear skies and relatively calm conditions, with a view of Mt Enta in the background. Could not have asked for more.

Thanks Andrea and your team for the experience. I would highly recommend Andrea and I’ll definitely be back again when I get the chance.

This guy is a legend, pure and simple.

We had 2 days booked out of Marzememi with Andrea on this trip. When our first day was hampered by strong winds in Marzememi, Andrea took us to another boat in Ragusa which was more sheltered from the northerly winds blowing down the Sicilian East coast. We fished with his friends on their boat and Andrea joined us for the day for the experience. We went 2 for 2 on some 50KG class tuna and had a great day. I don’t know another skipper anywhere in the world who would organise a backup in the event of bad weather and attend himself too, providing some of his own tackle, just for the love of it.

The following day we went 1 for 2 on Andrea’s boat with an 80KG fish at boat side and a second fish that didn’t properly hook up after an incredible initial run.

Andrea is a top chap, excellent host and a knowledgeable and experienced captain. He’s very passionate about his fishing too and you’ll always have a good day with him regardless of whether the fish bite. I’ve fished with him for 3 days in total and have landed 5 bluefin between 45 and 110KG.

He prepares excellent breakfasts (coffee and croissants) and lunches with burrata, mozzarella, salami, mortadella and olives. I must mention that it’s obligatory to drink a beer after you’ve caught a tuna, with a slosh of it being donated to the sea for the fish gods.

Finally, and most importantly for me, he practises catch and release. I love tuna, and it would break my heart to needlessly kill one. Andrea understands and fully embraces catch and release, which isn’t true of others down there.

From squids, to sea bream, and up mount Etna he was at our complete disposal for our entire trip!
His knowledge is incredible, and fishing skills unmatched!

Andrea was brilliant, his knowledge of the area and species was top notch. Boat was good, equipment great... and the fishing was good too. Lots of false albacore, an amberjack and my first spearfish... all be a possible record for the smallest ever landed!! 🤣🤣👍👍 I had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Banana for Tuna... if you go, you'll know!!! 🙌💪

It was fantastic fishing trip. These guys know all places and timing where Tuna floats.
It was a first time me and my wife fishing at deep sea for Tuna, guys instructed and helped in all stages of fishing.
Special thanks for the Sicilian food, coffee and beer throughout the day.
My wife and I are completely satisfied with fishing, each caught 50 and 70 kilograms of trophy tuna.

I cant praise Andrea and his team enough.. one of the best fishing trips ive had and ive fished alot of places. Andreas knowledge of the area is second to none a truely 1st class skipper, if your thinking of a fishing trip i would highly recomend this. The tackle the boat the equipment the company all high end and the lunch on the boat OMG! I cant wait to get back!!!
