Outdoor space is great when weather allows! Neat spot with old traditional ambience.
Gluten free menu available with a good variety of food, attached in pics. Tried the red enchiladas, and did not think they had any flavor. They are also very small, and only available in chicken, can't sub other meat. Waiter was very nice and accommodating to help me find a meal I would like and replace it. Guacamole is great and chips are gluten free too.
Red chili pork chop had a great presentation and even better flavor.

Just found this amazing spot and had to give it a try. I am so glad that I did. I arrived right at 5pm when they opened for dinner and my server Lindsey was awesome. I had the chips and salsa, as well as the habenero salsa and avocado salsa. All 3 were excellent. Lindsey also brought me some of their fresh tortillas with a very tasty chive butter, and I tried the Sonoran meatloaf with chipotle gravy, garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. The flavors were amazing, the atmosphere was perfect, and service was top notch. They have indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. This is truly a new favorite spot for me. Give it a try and you will thank me?

We made a return trip to this restaurant in Scottsdale! The first time we came it was a weekend and we had a bit of a wait but so worth it! The staff is friendly, always have a smile, and the service is good. They have good portions of food, the drinks are wonderful (and are delivered so colorfully) The outside patio has so much room! There is a beautiful water fountain placed almost central on the patio. At night, there are lights hanging -it says “ambiance”! I would recommend this place to anyone that visits Scottsdale AZ.

While the service and atmosphere at the Old Tortilla Factory were commendable, unfortunately, the food fell extremely short of expectations; especially for Mexican food in Arizona. The chips tasted store-bought and lacked flavor, while both the rice and beans were bland—the beans seemed canned and unseasoned.

Despite this, our server was attentive, especially considering our large group, ensuring our drinks were promptly refilled. Hopefully, improvements to the menu can match the quality of the service and ambiance.

Excellent dinner… Oaxaca with scallops and risotto was fantastic! Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return here and highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area!

There is a small parking lot beside the restaurant, but there is plenty of street parking too.
It was a perfect evening to sit outside, so the patio was packed. It's lovely with the vegetation, and it has strings of white lights for after sunset.
The appetizers were good, and the entrees (I had the salmon and my husband had the penne con pollo) were both exceptional. They have a good selection of wine, beer, and cocktails, and if you have room, the desserts look really delicious too.
It's definitely a place to go when you're in the mood for Mexican food and want to enjoy it outside.

Our group of 20 loved dining on the patio at Old Town Tortilla Factory! It came up as a Scottsdale staple restaurant to visit, and it did not disappoint. Fun atmosphere, casual but so lovely under the twinkle lights and such a great serving and bar staff. We felt at home and loved it all. The queso is not to be missed and I am still thinking about how good the garlic rice was with the sea bass. You'll love it here!
