Bacon and grit was super dry. Potato and egg was on point. Very reasonably priced.

Their coffee are manual pump. I am so used to people handing me coffee. 🙂 can't complain as the price is way lower here, plus you got free refill.

Very nice employees.

First time here. No one greeted or even try to assist us when we entered so we waited for awhile then we approached the cashier and she asked us to order there and pick a seat. Ambiance is nice and music is good too. Though the food was delicious, the utensils are all so dirty even though they claimed it has been washed. One of the staff saw us not being happy about this and decided to run inside and not attend to us. One of the fork still got egg yolk stains. My husband and I took our utensils to the restroom and washed it (yes it was that bad) before we use it. I am beginning to question if this place is even hygienic or safe enough to dine here again. I leave that for you to decide. Not sure if I’ll come back here again.

My husband and I ate here for the first time while visiting Duluth! The food was phenomenal! The service was quick, customer service was great! The fresh squeezed orange juice and the peach berry lemonade is a must try! I had the steak tacos and my husband had the Farmer biscuit, we shared an order of the smash browns! Everything was 10/10! we will definitely be back!

Let me paint a picture for you: You stroll into Maple Street, belly growling, dreams of fluffy biscuits and savory sausage dancing in your head. The vibe is cozy, the service is friendly, and your food arrives promptly. So far, so good, right? Well, buckle up because the culinary adventure is about to take a wild turn.

First up, the brunch biscuit egg and sausage. Now, I’ve had dry biscuits before, but this one took dryness to a whole new level. We’re talking Sahara Desert levels of parched! It was so dry I thought I might accidentally create a dust storm just by cutting into it. The egg did its best to help out, but even it couldn’t save this biscuit from the clutches of extreme aridity.

Then there’s the keto bowl. The sausage in this dish wasn’t just cooked; it was forged in the fires of Mordor. Seriously, I’m pretty sure these sausage links could double as paperweights—or better yet, boulders in a rock garden. My teeth got a good workout, and if nothing else, I walked out of there with a new respect for my dentist.

On the bright side, the service was decent, and my food arrived in a timely manner, which, given everything else, felt like a small miracle. So, if you’re in the mood for a dry biscuit challenge or want to test your jaw strength with rock-solid sausage, Maple Street is the place to be. Otherwise, maybe stick to toast.

Truly disappointed with my experience. Where do I even start?

Atmosphere: First off, upon entry a staff member movers 3 huge trash bins just full of garbage and placed it in front of the entry. I don’t think he even changed his gloves before going back to the kitchen. Like why would you have heaping trash of the entry (which no one removed the entire time we were there) That should of been the first sign to leave (but we drove far to come and it was our first time) The floor was dirty and it looked like they were closing up the place but there were patrons and restaurant didn’t close for another hour.

Service: Next no one greeted us and we were unsure just kind of stood around being ignored until we just went up to the counter. When it was our turn to order I asked about the menu and the teenage worker didn’t know the menu and they ended up being out of several promotional items we ordered. (all the workers looked very young which is fine but they acted unprofessional)
They placed our food on the counter for pickup and placed a huge tub of wet dishes next to our food so that it was touching. At this point I spoke up and said the the wet dishes and the tub was touching our food and the cashier was like oh it’s clean. ?
I was so bewildered and frustrated at this point we took our food outside to eat because it was too dirty and cringe inside but we were attacked by bees (maybe because of all the trash?) and had to come back inside.

Food: We ordered the hash bowl, chicken maple biscuit, apple cinnamon waffles (with no cheesecake because they were out) and a shareable smash browns. The fried food was overcooked and burnt and The silverware was dirty. At this point we were so fed up we couldn’t even eat it. We asked for to go plates but ended tossing everything.

Overall so dissatisfied with the food, service and atmosphere. We wasted our time and money. But I blame myself because I read these same words in the reviews before I came but I had high hopes.
