Dr. Khanifar is excellent but we waited almost 3 hours to be seen with no one giving us an update on why it was taking so long. My son has diabetes (which the office knows) and is on an eating schedule and his blood sugar ran low. While we are always prepared for that, I think 3 hours is an unrealistic expectation to wait to see the doctor, esp with no one updating you.

Dr Khanifar was very nice; also, very thorough and careful with my exam. He explained things clearly. The Silver Spring office is very efficient. Except for one day when there were two emergencies before me, my appointments were on time, and I was moved through the steps of the appointments without long waits. I felt everyone spent plenty of time with me. I liked that Dr Khanifar reassured me that the practice has people on call 24/7 and that someone would be available to respond immediately if I had an emergency situation. I highly recommend the practice and Dr Khanifar.
