Our boys have been attending Garden Music School for 4 years. Dan has been an amazing guitar, bass guitar and drum teacher from day 1. His passion for music and teaching shines bright. Dan is committed to his students and goes above and beyond with every lesson. He is patient, honest and enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge and love of music with all those he meets!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dan and the entire team at Garden Music School in Winter Garden. As the father of a son with Down Syndrome, finding a supportive and engaging environment for his musical education was incredibly important to us. Dan is an exceptional instructor who has been working with my son Michael for several years now. His talent, patience, and dedication have made a world of difference in Michael's life. Music has become a form of therapy for Michael, and Dan has been instrumental in nurturing his love for it. He understands Michael's limitations but consistently pushes him to reach new heights, always with the utmost respect and encouragement.

What sets Dan apart is his ability to inspire his students. He doesn't just teach music; he fosters an environment where students are encouraged to explore their interests, stay engaged, and most importantly, play together. This collaborative approach truly captures the essence of the musical experience and has been incredibly beneficial for Michael.

The regular recitals are a fantastic aspect of the program, providing students with goals and rewarding experiences to look forward to. These events offer students a real musician's experience, embracing ad hoc performances and improvisation, which adds to the authentic, go-with-the-flow atmosphere of their music education.

Dan's ability to play multiple instruments and his deep understanding of human nature allow him to use creative techniques that keep lessons fresh and exciting. He introduces new concepts and promotes a variety of musical styles, ensuring continuous development for his students.

I am deeply appreciative of the positive impact Dan and Garden Music School have had on Michael. The environment they have created is one where students not only learn music but also support and inspire each other to achieve their best. A great music school they teach a wide variety of instruments. They honestly treat everyone like family. Marcus the instructor knows a huge variety of instruments and has a wonderful outlook. Dan another instructor is amazing with my young boys. They have recitals and rock band clubs for young kids. One boy is learning piano and another is learning drums.

My 5 year old daughter loves her singing class. Her teacher does a great job in keeping her on task and keeping her engaged during that class. She looks forward to coming to her class during the week. We also enjoy seeing her recitals which they do more frequently than other music schools.

We came to Garden Music as adult students and were blessed to have Dan assigned as our teacher. He knows his craft very well, and has a natural ease in his teaching style that feels more like two people discussing an interest, than in sitting down for a lecture. He is a good listener too! The number of times he's been able to pick up on some area of concern in our study by either what we said, or did not say, is really remarkable. It's a lovely school, with lovely people, and I'm so glad we found them!

When I first started Garden Music I truly loved the environment and friends I had made. However, as time passed the organization and environment went very south. The teachers fight often, and sometimes would involve their students. Along with this, they over charged my family almost $500 dollars one month. The community at Garden Music is very closed off as well, they choose favorites and will treat other students differently based off of their bias. This also includes talking bad about students to other students. For a young child or an adult, I’m sure these issues would not be a problem for you, but if you want to enroll your teenager please keep this in mind.
