In un paese medievale impossibile da non visitare per le sue caratteristiche bellezze, ( Giove Tr), l’agriturusmo Verde Alloggio, a 40 km da Roma, offre la possibilità di essere catapultati in un ambiente meraviglioso, a contatto con la natura. ||Proprietaria gradevolissima e sempre disponibile. ||Prodotti dell’orto a disposizione degli ospiti gratuitamente.

Verdealloggio is a really nice, centuries old farm owned by a lovely couple. They live on the farm and rent out a villa which contains two separate apartments: one in upstairs and one in downstairs. You can rent just one apartment or whole villa. Both apartments have two bedrooms but in the lower apartments you have to go through the other bedroom to reach the other one. Beds were comfortable and there were enough of closet space. Bathrooms was perfectly clean. Facilities are kind of rustic but that's a part of the charm. Only dish washer was occasionally missed but it really wasn't an issue. Pool is pretty basic but does the job perfectly. Views are magnificent and surroundings very beautiful. Only a 5 min walk to Giove village and a short drive to Rome - Firenze highway (1 hour drive from Rome) so the location is top notch! All in all, real good value, wonderful hosts who will give you privacy and perfect place for an Italian countryside vacation.

We spent some phantastic days in the little cosy house on Giove's hill with its view over the green valley. Quiet, safe full immersion in nature. The village is at about 12 minutes walk from Verdealloggio and there you have everithing you could need as village shops and even a little boutique... The old center town is really as it was in the 16th century. All that, above the kindness of the house keepers, makes of that place a precious jewel for someone that really wants to feel italian country traditions and experience simple life in contact with nature.

Found this place on a villa rentals site, no reviews on TA but the photos looked good so we decided to book. It was a group of 6 of us, 2 couples and 2 singles, so we had plenty of space. The villa is actually 2 apartments, with separate doors and kitchens and a bathroom each. The gardens are lovely, with hammock, pool, recliner chairs, patio and the friendliest cat I've met! The owner's house is on the same plot, and they were friendly and helpful, but didn't intrude.||||The nearest village is a short walk up the hill, with some shops, a couple of bars and a good restaurant. The villa has Wifi, and a small TV. The kitchens are well kitted out, too.||||Just a couple of things to be aware of - the owners don't take credit cards so you'll need to arrange payment via transfers - not a major problem, but there's usually a bank fee for doing this. The other thing is that the lower apartment has one bedroom leading off the first, so that might be awkward for e.g. 2 couples in that apartment. Fine for a family though.||||Definitely recommend this place if you want peace and quiet, and great views of a classic Umbrian landscape.

Dieser Ort ist super idyllisch gelegenen, hier kommt man zur Ruhe. Leider ist die Ausstattung recht spärlich und man muss sich doch ziemlich stark beim kochen, wohnen einschränken, da es keinen Ofen , Gefrierfach oder Kaffeemaschine gibt. Die Läden in der Umgebung sind sehr mau bestückt , sodass man schon vorher sich gut eindecken sollte. Die Lage ist herrlich, man braucht in viele Städte ca. 1 1/2 h und die Aussicht lässt einfach alles vergessen. Die Vermieter sind super nett, sehr bemüht und versuchen jegliche Wünsche zu erfüllen. Frisches Obst und Gemüse kann man hier direkt ernten.

The owners are very helpful and allow for a relaxing holiday. The accomodation was fine, but lacked some of the mod cons that you might expect - but then again the price is reflective of this.||Really enjoyed the space, views and most of all the privacy of having the pool to ourselves.
